John D’Ercole was born in Lakeville, Connecticut in 1987. An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, John’s repertoire spans several genres, including jazz, classical and contemporary music.
Being greatly inspired by Andrés Segovia, John arranged two of his favorite classical compositions for the solo Bass Guitar. His interest in performing classical music became a passion, and he continued to expand his repertoire.
As a result, in 2010 John released his debut CD of classical music for the solo Bass Guitar.
In the summer of 2011, John presented the first solo Bass Guitar concert to the world of classical music, at Gordon Hall.
“John’s bass playing and his gentle manner are so magnificent that I know he’ll be a headline performer before he leaves his twenties.”
